PPRSC Summer 2014 Tennis Camp
Mission Statement: Teach the sport of a lifetime. We are committed to offering quality tennis instruction, while having fun and building each child’s confidence in a safe and welcoming environment. While learning the game of tennis, from the basics to competing at the highest levels, sportsmanship, fairness and honesty will be stressed. We believe in teaching individuals, not systems.
Our knowledgeable and fun-loving staff has over 50 years of teaching and coaching tennis experience. They are well-trained and enthusiastic in their passion for teaching tennis and tennis-specific fitness.
Our Director of Tennis, Bill Belser, is a USPTA level 1 Elite Professional, who is also a USTA High Performance Certified Coach. He has taught all levels and ages for over 35 years from beginners to D1 college players (Thai Kwiatkowski) to Grand Slam Champions like Andy Roddick and Arantxa Sanchez Vicario. Bill and his wife, Liz, have lived in Charlotte for almost 10 years and have two children, Derby and Wills.
Our Director of Fitness, Liz Belser, is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and an IYCA Youth Fitness Coach. In addition, Liz is also a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. With over 20 years of working in the fitness industry, Liz has worked with people of all ages and fitness levels, from 8 to 80 years old and beginners to world class tennis players.
There will also be additional highly qualified coaches added to our staff as we get closer to the summer.
